Sf Gate Interview

We were interviewed by Matt Petty at the Chronicle about our collaboration work. We sound a bit like a zombies because it was five days before the Circus! opening. At any rate, if you want to hear Ferris and I expound on why we like to work together and why we dig each other's stuff then go here!

Hello!

Hi there- the show has really taken it out of me, i realize, so have been resting on making new things. So happy with how the show turned out.

I have quite a few commissions coming up, which will keep me busy until our show in Denver in late november at Limited Addiction gallery.

I am thinking about doing a small group of small pieces just for the site, so keep your eyes peeled!

The remaining work from the Circus show is available through 111 minna gallery. contact Mr. Gabe Scott (scott.gabe@gmail.com) for availability and pricing. Here's a closeup of one of the pieces that is still available:

Sketch Tuesday is tonight! And it's the last week of Circus. *Snif*

The end of "Circus" is quickly upon us, so Ferris and I and some of our friends will be doing a very special Sketch Tuesday tonight at 111 Minna Gallery from 6-9 pm. We'll be drawing and selling work right on the spot, as usual. The participants tonight are either friends or recent students of the California College of the Arts' graduate program (or in a couple cases, both!).

If you haven't seen the show this is your last week to do so.

Avavilable works are also up at 111minnagallery.com. Inquiries prior to the opening, or during the span of the show should be addressed to scott.gabe@gmail.com.

The exhibition will be on view from Thursday, May 1st through May 31th. 111 Minna Gallery is located at the corner of Minna and 2nd Streets in downtown San Francisco.

The latest large-scale collaborative exhibition by San Francisco-based artists Ferris Plock and Kelly Tunstall, CIRCUS! is an entirely new body of work that uses circus life to inspect journeys, innocence and artifice.

- Kelly Tunstall
- Ferris Plock
